DR ABCD

Today we had to do our annual CPR certificate. What a shame I forgot and didn't wear pants for getting down on the ground!! Lucky I didn't wear anything "too fancy" to work today though.

Click HERE for a graphic of the current CPR proceedures (Australian phone numbers!)

I tried to get a picture of the back of my head. I had a haircut on Saturday, and while it doesn't look very different from the front, it's been shaped a lot and is shorter at the back.

Two-Fers

Do you own a two-fer? One of those shirts with a fake inner our outer layer.

Target has a history of tshirts with a fake underlayer or lately they have satin type tops with a fake vest overlay.

I was surprised to find the other day, though, this coral shrug 2-fer. The pattern is so so so like the pattern of a dress I made in the 1980's and the little shrug is just my favourite colour lately!!

I had need to wear more casual clothes to work today so I decided to finally wear this 2-fer which I actually bought well over a month ago.

Wedding

Been a few days since I posted. Visitors always seem to mean I either don't have access to both my wardrobes/accessories or time is poor and taking outfit photos just never happens.

I went to a wedding on Sunday and only managed these photos after I'd returned home (thus hair/makeup is a little worn!)

Memories..

Well mine is shocking when it comes to clothes. I forgot all about this shirt. I don't know if I actually loved it anymore until I saw someone else wearing it on their blog!! When I have more time I'll find the blog and link to it!

I'm realising so many of my outfits are from budget stores. There isn't a reason I couldn't shop at Myers for example, but I guess places like Kmart, Big W and Target are easily access for me. Oh well....... here's some more budget style!

Well, lucky I'm not a betting woman or I'd have lost the shirt off my back today!!

Today, is Melbourne Cup Day. For those who aren't in Australia (or the know) today is "The Day That Stops a Nation". Bascially it's a horse race that everyone celebrates and participates in office sweeps or dressing up in pretty clothes or on the other hand funny hats/accessories. I mean we don't have halloween, so I guess it's the next best thing *LOL*

Usually women will wear a nice hat/outfit to work, so this is what I wore today..

Haircut

Well I need one......but today's title is more to do with the fact that this was the best head shot I had! I seemed to cut my head off in most of the pictures today and I didn't have enough time to check them or reshoot. Strangely I mostly only take 6 shots, and mostly they're in frame and I'll find at least one where I'm not making some kind of strange face!!!

I went to a meeting today and out for lunch, and this is what I wore.

Style Thief

I love finding new blogs.

I love when I find that the blogger is wearing something I could copy as well! Hee hee

Recently I came across Heads, Toes & Everything inBetweenie . There are only a few posts to date, but I'm already loving it!!

A few days ago she posted this
and I realised I have a similar shirt, and as I'm always trying to work out what the heck to wear on the weekends, I decided to give it a go.

Seems I have left my short black cardi at work so I decided to go a bit different with this tie front cardi, but wear it opened. Not sure how great it is, but I like that it's different. I really need some nice tan shoes too.
